Antelope Valley Pagan Pride Day for 2009

10:00am-6:00pm

Poncitlan Square
at 38315 9th Street East in Palmdale, California. Near the Library and City Hall

We will be collecting non perishable food items for the Sunrise HIV/Aids Coalition Food Bank.

In lieu of admission, please bring some food to donate!

This charity provides food to families of those affected by HIV and AIDS. Many such families are on disability or welfare, and may not have enough to make ends meet month to month.

Other things to expect at our event:

• VENDORS! Pagan Vendors and products of interest-contact us if you want to vend.

• MUSIC! Seeking musicians now!

• Free WORKSHOPS! Seeking volunteers to lead workshops

• Introduction to Seidhr and other Trancework by Hrafn Skjoldr Kindred

• RITUAL! Wiccan ritual for the Harvest- Autumn Equinox by Coven of the founding Five

• an Asatru blot to Frigga

• Ritual to invite the Elves (Alfs) to our festival!

• CHILDREN'S RITUAL and ACTIVITIES

• Psychic (Tarot) readings for charity (for the First Pantheisitic Center) by Cyndia- in the Clan of the Desert Oak Booth

Come out and join us for a day of fun, music, and celebration. Don't forget to bring your checkbook as we have plenty of vendors to visit! Come out, buy a raffle ticket or a T-shirt or both! This year's shirt will be short sleeved, black with red ink, and feature Maxine Miller's design.

We do have to pay to rent the park each year as well as hopefully some advertising..

We will be needing help the day of the event, and also coordination of the event ahead of time-Volunteer meetings start in May.

First Pantheistic Center Board meets for business on the first Monday of the month each month. Contact Lisa/Ariadne for location and time; as we meet in an indivdual home at this time.
